Slater's 50/50

This is a good hamburgers / sports bar. The food is fresh and the service is excellent. They also have a great selection of spirits and beer.

I have to say I was remarkably unimpressed. I asked for my Burger medium and my dining partner asked for it medium rare. We both got well done, not so much as a hint of pink anywhere. Pretty sad when a Burger place can't even cook a Burger right. The onion rings were good though...

Tried it and I liked it. Burgers are pretty good and a good loud place to meet up friends to watch a game.

Oh my gosh!!!! The Slater's 50/50 burger was beyond my wildest dreams. Ground beef and ground bacon makes for a super juicy burger.

Sadly the food was a big disappointment. They were out of so many simple ingredients and the service was slow and the waitress didn't seem to care about the service or accommodating for missing messed up orders. For the price, I'd expect a little more care.

I got a chicken sandwich, which they don't seem to be known for, for a reason. The burgers may be better, but they seem to be far understaffed, so getting service is harder than it should be. There was 1 waitress trying to be the hostess while tending to the entire restaurant.

We had a really good time. Food was good.Made to our liking. The server Pierre was great. Got our order and drinks perfect.Definitely will go back.

The food is tasty, fresh and the portions are big. The service is efficient and friendly. Great burgers. Recommneded.

Love this place, ordered a golden monkey and original 50/50 burger. Recommend there sweet potatoes fries and pumpkin sauce. FYI to the owner, I would buy the pumpkin sauce if you sold it in a jar... Hint hint :)

The burgers were yummy and tots delicious. Our service was great, however some of the appetizers were cold. Our garlic fries and kid's cheese fries were not fresh. The pork belly flat bread was delicious as well as the Mac and Cheese balls. The alcohol drinks need to be stronger, so don't expect to be intoxicated from them. We will return for the burgers and some appetizers but stick with water or non-alcoholic drinks. Plenty of other locations in Pasadena to get a stronger alcoholic beverage.

Slater's 50/50 has the best of everything: insanely killer food (with a build-your-own menu featuring dream options for carnivores and vegans alike), craft beers on tap, sports on the big screens (but not overwhelming enough to distract the entire restaurant), friendly accommodating staff, and a cool, low key, motif. And to elaborate on some of the food choices....this is a place that offers grilled Hawaiian rolls as one of their bun options, Sriracha-infused bacon as one of their 5-6 different bacon options, and amazing sweet potato fries with an incredible pumpkin dipping sauce as one of their side options!! Slater's 50/50 is a fun and unique eatery in the heart of Pasadena. Bring your appetite!!

Definitely a great burger spot. They definitely bring it here. If your not sure go for one of their signature burgers or you can design your own. The sweet potato fries were on point. Some of the best I ever had. Their beer selection is also top notch. Plenty of variety, and not just IPAs but much more. Last but certainly not least, our server was great. Great service, prompt and super friendly.

We enjoyed our burgers and there are quite a few TVs for sports viewing. The prices are a little high for us although seemed reasonable for the area and you got a lot of food as well. We would return, we didn't try the 50/50 burger but maybe next time!

I was honestly expecting a little more flavor out of a burger patty that is half bacon. There was not any bacon flavor, just a bit more richness than a traditional patty. It was still a very good burger, I was just expecting more.

They offer a fantastic variety of fresh food. I enjoy eating here. Staff members are always super friendly, pricing is reasonable and the spot is always neat.

I remember this place being much better a few years back. The cocktails were below average at $12 each, the Poke Nachos w/ guacamole priced at $18 were meh and was disappointed to see that the pizza burger (my personal favorite) was no longer on the menu.

Yum! You get to design your own burger or choose one off the menu and name it too! Also... nothing like bacon salt.. tastes so good sprinkled over a salad for that extra bite

Stopped by for afternoon lunch... nice staff... Meh for the original burger (50/50 patty) all four who are one couldn't really taste bacon and all agreed a fatty beef burger is just as good. The regular fries weren't memorable but the garlic fries were good. Great beer selection. Nice touch with over-the-top shakes. The roasted marshmallow graham cracker shake was 😋.

The service was amazing! Everyone was so friendly and attentive. The food was very tasty! I ordered the BBB but with Lettuce Bowl instead of the bun. Loved the beer cheese on my fries. The only issue was there were onions inside my son’s kids pizza but they remade it and were very apologetic. Plus they discounted our bill!

So... yeah... just had a burger and salad with chicken and water for almost 50 bucks... The service was very friendly but our water glasses stayed empty a little too long and had to ask for a side of ranch twice from two different people.Reinvent to reinvigorate or....

The atmosphere of this place is like an arcade room combine with a sport bar. It is pretty cool. With the amount of the noise, lights and TV. This place is oddly relaxing and greatly enjoyable with friends and family.The service and staff is very on-point. They did a great job of making one feel welcome.The food was great. We had a platter of onion rings and tater tots hot off the fryer. The burgers we order we're great as well.I love my craft beer. It taste just like peanut butter. My friends wasn't bad as well.It is a great place to enjoy some American comfort food.

I was made to fell like Family fo the first second I walked in. Truly I was. I found myself befuddled by the automatic doors but , was made to feel not like a fool but as a welcome new comer. Carly was awesome and the service was top shelf. I had the, my apologies, first time there, lone Star omg yummy burger. Bacon, cheese, the pickle was a treat. I truly do recommend this as a destination point. Good food, great service, fun atmosphere. Please do visit.

It was good. Their menu is changing and I feel they are moving further from their core identity. Still good food but I worryvtgey will dilute themselves too much with adding to the menu.

Really sweet burger. Tasted great but I can't really taste the bacon in it though. It's just a good burger. Don't expect some sort of revelation though.

Okay maybe bias but when I went there it was an event and it was way too loud. We had to yell at each other just to talk.

Two words: bacon ketchup! Came here for the first time with my family and I was not disappointed! I know they're popular for the burgers but I got the grilled chicken ranch sandwich with a side of fries and their delicious bacon ketchup...it was yummy! The staff was super friendly and very attentive to our needs! The atmosphere was lively and I could see myself coming back here and hitting up the bar! Definitely will return!

The staff is good the burgers are crazy, I bet one can't finish all the fries burger and drink.

This spot is superb and roomy, the food was enchanting and the rates were very fair. rapidly, productive service and very amiable staff members. Recommended.

My friends and I were served very well. The waitress made sure we did not go without and the cooks made sure our taste buds were satisfied. It may be another 10 or 12 months till we return, but nevertheless, we will return.

So, we were headed to Pasadena to meet up with some friends for dinner and arrived very early. Since we were very early (about an hour or so) we decided to find a place to get a drink. We decided to try Slater's 50/50 since it was close to our meeting spot. We hopped up to the bar and were greeted by Marisol who was amazing. I am an Old Fashioned guy, but the beer drinkers loved the selection. We had no idea that they had that many choices. They even carried Ultra Gold! What?? Well, after our hour was about up, we decided to call the group we were meeting to join us and blow off the other place were originally going to meet at. Why would we even think of leaving a place like this? Service was perfect, drinks were on point and the food was amazing. We will be back. Thank you, Marisol, for making our night out a memorable one. We will be back very soon.

Very nice place on an empty Saturday morning. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the beers. Curious how the place is when it is packed. I really appreciate them having a monthly deal on their beer of the month, which makes up for someone looking for a happy hour.
